"Hello Mom!"

This particular week I was missing my mom, (who passed away two years ago this August) more than usual. My heart was really aching. While I was measuring a closet for a customer, I knock over this little statue. When I picked it up, it was a "Worlds Greatest Mom" award, identical to one I had purchased for my mom in the 70's. As I continued to measure, I knocked it down again only to pick it up again saying to myself "Hello Mom".

After leaving this customers home, I was on my way to lunch and glanced over at this parked vehicle which happened to be the EXACT make, model and color of my mothers car. To top it off the license plate read "Hi There". I started laughing hysterically and picked up my cell phone to call my sister to share the recent events and when she picked up the phone she answered "Well Hello There". I was speechless but it doesn't end here.

On my way home, much later that afternoon, I was listening to a local radio station which has a new segment called "The Connection". Basically it's a show where they talk about spiritual issues and God. They were asking people to call in with their "God Stories" as I call them, so I immediately picked up my cell phone to share. By no coincidence I was the last caller they accepted and proceeded to share my story of the day. When I finished I was awarded a gift certificate to one of my mothers and my favorite restaurants. But it's not over yet. When I hung up from the station, the time on the clock was 3:27 which is the month and day my dad passed (March 27th). We are truly not alone.....EVER!!!!

  All my love,
